VERY much looking forward to this.
While the Ipad is a great size for around the home, this I can see tossing in my inside jacket pocket, or backpack.
Bummed about no phone use in US, but that will come eventually through root, or eventual firmware update.
Only other question is whether it will have Gorilla Glass for the screen, likes it's little brother, the Galaxy S phones.

Just got the galaxy 3 weeks ago. I like it but I don't know how to upgrade the flashplayer.
looks like the perfect size -- if it can hook into Sprint's 4G network, i'm there!
I'm seeing rumors going both ways on that.
But, apparently, Samsung just updated one of their phones via firmware update, to now use the 4G network. So, if it does not release with it, it may come soon, via OTA update.
Sprint should also be the first ones out of the box, some time around Nov. 15th or so.

Samsung Shows Off Its Next-Gen Tablet With Super-AMOLED Screen.
After backtracking on the use of AMOLED displays in the recently released Galaxy Tab, citing battery life for its use of a Super TFT display, Samsung has demoed a next-gen Galaxy Tab prototype fitted with its latest Super AMOLED display tech. As expected, the new seven-inch WXVGA 1200x600 display is currently on display at FPD 2010.
The next generation Galaxy Tab is expected to be on sale by this time next year. [via OLED-display]
