    @Daveindiego and anyone else who lives in that area...

    Is the Imperial Beach area a cool place to stay? I've got to be out there next week for work and can't decide if I want to stay at the marriott there or the marriott marquis in the marina.

    At the Marquis you will be right on the bay and near the Gaslamp area. The 2 locations dont even compare :grad:

    At Imperial Beach you have the opportunity to wade through the Tijuana sewage river if you walk a few blocks South on the beach :dontknow:

    We usually stay at the La Pensione in Little Italy.........Dave was very forthcoming with places to stay and see. Saturday market is right outside the hotel also.

    Pacific Beach and Mission Beach are the places to be, unless you've got mad cheese. Then to go La Jolla.
