Remember that deaf chick that can now hear?

Well of all bands she dove right into Thrash metal and chose Megadeth's catalogue of music.

Isn't the lead singer the guy that says the Aurora shooting was an inside job?

He said Barack Obama 'staged' the massacre that took place and never apologized when asked.
Some things he says are a hit and miss but for the most part his a pretty cool cat.

he's a narcissist who desperately needed to be in complete control of a band after Metallica, hence him needing to be the vocalist. (vocalists always get the most attention).

if Megadeth had auditioned singers and found someone else they'd be such a better band in my opinion

@5:23 Her favorite 'Megadeth' song is No More Mr. Nice Guy. I'm sure Mustaine is thrilled she chose one that he didn't even write.

this kid quoted Megadeth before stabbing 5 people to death in Calgary last week. Mustaine should be put in jail.

Heavy-metal lyric posting 'odd and mysterious’
Megadeth album, song referenced hours before five stabbed to death

By Mike Bell, Calgary Herald April 16, 2014

The music of Dave Mustaine and his band, Megadeth, has been linked to the worst mass slaying in Calgary’s history, though an expert says it would be “a misreading” to suggest the band’s music in any way encouraged “any form of violence.”

Several hours before he is accused of taking the lives of five people in what has been called the worst mass murder in Calgary history, Matt de Grood took to his Facebook page and wrote the words: Dread and the fugitive mind — the world needs a hero.
They appear cryptic and ominous in light of the events that would follow.
The words are a song and album title from American rock act Megadeth. The track Dread and the Fugitive Mind, written by frontman Dave Mustaine and originally released on a compilation, would later be featured on the L.A. band’s 2001 studio release The World Needs A Hero.
Canadian music journalist and author Martin Popoff notes that, while it would obviously be ludicrous to blame a song or art for the actions of anyone — or even an entire genre of music — in the absence of immediate answers the “pretty oblique” posting may actually provide some insight into the state of mind of the person allegedly responsible.
“It seems a little more direct than looking into somebody’s (Facebook) profile and saying, ‘Oh, they happen to be a Marilyn Manson fan,’ ” said Popoff, referring to blame that was directed at the musician in the wake of the Columbine school shootings.
“But in this case it is fairly odd and mysterious that this guy would post this. . . . And it seems like it’s pointing to people to go read this lyric.”
Again, while the direct context for the posting is unknown — perhaps a response to a social media quiz or question from a friend — Popoff says that his “gut instinct” is that de Grood was hoping to direct people to the song.
The widely accepted reading of Dread and the Fugitive Mind, says the journalist who has written extensively on heavy metal, including almost 50 books on the subject, relates to the musician’s staunch, born-again Christianity, and specifically grappling with the idea, or “gambling,” on belief or non-belief.
“This lyric seems to be about positing whether there’s a heaven or a hell,” said Popoff, who has interviewed Mustaine on numerous occasions, “and if you do bad deeds are you going to be punished or is there indeed any judgment whatsoever?”
Popoff said any interpretation of the song — or the entire Megadeth canon, for that matter — should be done with the knowledge that the writing is done from a very moral perspective.
“So if someone was to understand what Megadeth basically says in the composite, it’s basically a very moral message,” he said.
“Dave’s a very responsible guy, lyrically, so it would be a misreading, I would say, of what Dave is saying in this song or in the composite of all the songs put together to exact on society any form of violence.
“It is a misinterpretation of what Dave would have ever wanted said.”
Surprisingly, then, it’s not the first time the band has come up in relation to a heinous act in this country. In 2006, Kimveer Gill went on a shooting spree at Dawson College in downtown Montreal that left student Anastasia De Sousa dead and 19 others wounded. In an online posting prior to his rampage, Gill mentioned the Megadeth song A Tout le Monde, leading some publications and groups to vilify the band and forcing Mustaine to defend himself and his lyrics.

"Dexter" had a lot of megadeth quotes in it too.

    Who isn't a narcissist?
It's been documented for him starting a band and being the front runner was to get back to Metallica, it worked perfectly.
I wouldn't imagine anyone being in control of Megadeth other than Dave.....the guy oozes endless amounts of riffs and great lead work.

The guy does come across arrogant at times and sometimes happy, but i think Kerry King takes the cake of being rude 24/7.

yeah, but he could be the band leader AND not be the lead vocalist. sort of like the guy at the bottom of all your posts.

I used to be a huge megadeth fan, black label society is better and zack wylde is a better guitarist
