That will be a brutal fight!

I know alot of people don't like Jones, but for some reason, I think he's alright. Cormier on the other hand acts like a real dick and has turned me off. I don't think I can watch it live, it will be too stressful, I would rather find out who wins then watch.

Chael described the Jon Jones thing perfectly.
He said Jon is a good guy, but early on his PR people wanted to make him out to be this saint & it backfired on him. If he was just himself the whole time he would be fine.
He said he got to know Jon well during TUF & that Jon was very nice, but extremely conscious of his image & that he felt Jon was more likeable when he wasn't thinking about his brand & just being himself.

I like DC a lot though. but I have to go with Jones because until someone shows me otherwise he is the P4P best

If I am up, I will watch a stream, if not torrent afterwards.
That & the New Japan PPV with Jim Ross calling will be my Sat/Sun viewing

should be a close fight...Cormier's a beast but the huge reach and youth advantage JBJ enjoys will likely be the difference. and let's not forget Jones loves his eye pokes...I'm expecting at least one of those on Cormier.

    i'm fired up
cerrone vs myles jury - pulling for cerrone to gift a certain father-like ass whooping to this kid
jon jones vs cormier - will not be surprised if cormier is able to dictate the pace of the fight and use his wrestling/low center of gravity to secure takedowns en route to a dominating performance however jon jones is always dangerous..

DC was on with Chael recently & basically they discussed that it comes down to DC keeping it tight with Jones.
Sonnen said he did not let Anderson keep distance & that is how he did so well & that DC needs to do similar

It's about time Jones is fighting again...

I think it will be hard for anyone to beat Jones for a long time. He is just a monster and still only 27 years old.

Looking forward to Saturday night though.

The real question is, who does the UFC want to win?

Jones is their brand name at the moment, no way he is losing.

    Fixed as shit.

If that was true, Brock & Silva would still be champs

Dana looked so sad putting the belt on Cain

Even more so since Cain has been a mess since he won. Didn't he have to pull out of UFC's first event in Mexico?

Yes he did, but you cannot predict that.

Brock was their cash cow & Silva was becoming close (did $1m with Sonnen 2)

That is why they signed CM Punk. All of his delusional fanbois are gonna pop the buyrates on any PPV he gets his brains beat in on.

I always go with reach advantage. It might be over simplifying things but there is something to be said for tagging them from outside their range

I think CM would have helped a LOT more on a Fox card
He does not have the Brock aura to him so I doubt on name alone he will add 250k in buys.
Put him on a FREE Fox card & watch him add 1-2 million eyes for free though
They could use that for exposure for newer fighters like Pettis/Aldo that need a rub & Fox could help pay for Punk with ad rates going up

I'd personally whoop both their asses at the same time in a handicapped match.
