Scalia’s Resort Trip Was Gifted By a ‘Friend’ Who Had Business Before the Supreme Court
    Zach Cartwright | February 17, 2016
It’s now been revealed that the luxury hunting ranch vacation Antonin Scalia was on when he died was a gift from someone who Scalia indirectly helped with a recent Supreme Court decision.

In late 2015, the Supreme Court declined to hear an age discrimination suit (Hinga, James V. Mic Group, LLC) against a subsidiary of the manufacturing company J.B. Poindexter, which is owned by John B. Poindexter. Poindexter also owns the 30,000-acre Cibolo Creek Ranch in Shafter, Texas, where Scalia was vacationing when he died last weekend. According to the Washington Post, Scalia didn’t pay for his flight to the ranch, or for his room at the luxury ranch. His food and beverages were also free. Poindexter maintains that Scalia wasn’t given any preferential treatment, as the 36 people staying at the ranch that weekend were all staying for free.

However, the Post also reports that lingering questions remain about who else was staying at the ranch, and whether or not Poindexter or any of the ranch’s guests were trying to curry favor with the late Justice:

Not a single one of them is not corrupt. You have to be corrupt to even get your foot in the door. This is absolutely sad. These are the asshole making decisions that will affect millions of people.

No justice should serve more than 10 years. It's a disgrace that this guy was in power for 30 years.

One thing is very clear, I feel very sorry for the next liberal judge who passes away, for they will be shit on like crazy. Unfortunately, it will most likely be RBG, who was best friends with Scalia - and seems like a nice enough person.

I'm an independent, but can say the super-left has started something gross here that will no doubt continue when someone on the other side passes away.

Everyone who lives and dies by one party or the other can go fuck themselves.

As smart as Scalia was, he never seemed to get too worked up about conflicts of interest.

    Imagine that?

Just days after Scalia passing away, the crack investigative news hounds are on the trail to get to the truth and let no stone go unturned.

But countries, dictators, and corporations deposit millions upon millions into the Clinton's bank accounts and/or their fraud charity with an endless stream of business before the State Dept. that coincidentally found swift approval! Not to mention exposing national security to the world to cover their fraud and pay for play. :dontknow:

And, no story here, move along! :coffee:

Supreme Court Justice is found dead 50 miles from the Mexican border with a pillow over his face and no autopsy is performed. Makes sense.
