Not bad, listening to this at work, would be much better if they didn't play the same bass line over and over and over.
Kind of empathize with him, it's what the song calls for and he does it. Steve Swallow does great solos.
One time was in Penn Station there was a jazz band I requested All Blues (Miles), the bass player said 'back to the salt mines.'
Guy is phenomenal. Medeski, Martin,
Scofield, and Wood, is one of my all time favorite groups.
It's kind of the "Johnny B. Goode of jazz"
I guess so. For bass players, anyway.
