Is it superior to Firefox?
How superior is it to IE?
I just started using it. It's faster than Firefox.
And what Chriza said
If you have a google account you can log into any other computer with chrome/google and it'll sync all your bookmarks and usernames/passwords. I just built a new PC and that was a real time saver.
Doesn't have the add ons I like so I'll take FF (mine isn't slow)
Thanks for the response, gents
It's ma favrit
It can save all your favorite sites and open them each time you start the browser.
The address bar is also a google search so you can type words in and enter and it goes to Google.
If you right click on a link you can open it in a new tab with one click so you don't lose where you are.
The spellcheck is really goo
there is also a paste and go feature where you can copy words or hyperlinks to the address bar and skip the step of having to enter.
also it's very clean looking. There is only the address bar on top, with Firefox and IE there would be a few inches of junky toolbars.
How about some rep for some niggas?
sometimes when i was streaming on ff, the picture would freeze. i started using chrome for streaming and have no problems.
i had switched to chrome for awhile because firefox was so slow, but it is glitchy and a switched back a couple months ago -- the new version of firefox is MUCH faster than the couple previous ones -- it has better add-ons as well
Forun tags plus add on is a time saver, get it.
it should already be in your house of houses... if I neglected to post anyone else in this thread rep please notify me posthaste.
By the way- I got it and as the kids back in the early 2000's used to say, "it rocks"
It is way faster than FF when I am on my netbook, which is running Unbutu Linux
I hate changing browsers but when the latest version of IE came out I hated it and moved to chrome, so much nicer.
I posted some table comparisons I found during my look into replacing IE which is harrible for many reasons. You're welcome to search for them its not too far back in my 4k posts
As I recall testing alleges memory usage/speed, some security & overall stability a bit better than FF but for flexibility, and overall capabilities no.
However, in my experience some claimed Chr0me security for certain capabilities are either very misleading or lies. G00gle motto Don't Be Evil says it all IMO. On par it Face***k as far as I'm concerned
I stick with FF and only use Chrome on a very limited basis in place of IE
Come to think of it maybe the comparisons are in the thread I started on Pogoplug / Cloud Storage
