eeeeehhh. Looks very weird. From the creators of the Matrix trilogy? Matrix 2 and 3 were incoherent messes. This has potentially eight main characters? That's hard to do well.
And I notice they already inserted the Keanu Reeves mimic of guy sliding on his knees, leaning back and firing guns from each hand.
I'll have to wait to see if mostly good reviews pile up before I give it a shot.
Looks like a bit of a cut & paste job from other projects, but that sometimes works.
Ever play "Myst" when you were a kid? Now it's a TV show
Could be great, could be bad, that's the magic of The Wachowskis
By the way, Am I the only one who loves EVERY Matrix movies???
I hope so.
But seriously, this might be good if Wachowskis began the project with a solid story arc already crafted in detail. But if all they had was a (somewhat) interesting premise, and they just winged the rest during production...it will be lots of slow-mo Matrix CGI interspersed with a rambling plot that goes nowhere.
By the way writers, directors, and producers: they whole sexual androgyny thing? No longer cutting edge or shocking. Please don't feel compelled put it in every aspect of every product.
I loved the first two. Minus the 2nd movie's underground rain dance. The third movie (which I think I only watched once) wasn't what I expected and I didn't like it. I'm sure my expectations were sky high (my own fault) and I walked into the theater expecting the impossible.
I prefer sensei
They got any shows based in reality? For Grown ups?
You mean boring folks right??
I just finished it, it was GREAT
One of my favorites this year, up there with Daredevil, but not everybody that's for sure
The action starts around episode 5
