'Taco time!': Bikini-clad Tara Reid bites into a Mexican meal on Cinco de Mayo during getaway in Cabo San Lucas Tara Reid was back in a bikini on Tuesday. The 39-year-old actress was celebrating Cinco de Mayo in Mexico's Cabo San Lucas. And the Sharknado star was indulging in the country's signature fare. 'OMG!!! Best tacos my friends and I ever had!!! # tacotime,' the lithe blonde captioned a snap of herself with two friends. Scroll down for video The American Pie actress had on a red bikini top with a black bottom as she and a female friend flanked a male companion. She flashed a wide smile with a taco positioned close to her mouth as her brunette pal did the same. Some of the Van Wilder star's 162,000 Instagram followers took note that the very thin star was having a meal. On tweeter wrote, 'KEEP EATING!!!' The blonde added a second photo of her day at the beach, seen frolicking along the water's edge. She captioned the snap: 'There's nothing like playing in the waves in Cabo!' In one photo she appeared to be missing a limb. 'It sucks that a shark bit off her arm,' a follower joked, and another continued with the humor, writing, 'I thought u only lost you hand in sharknado not your arm.' In last year's Syfy film Sharknado 2: The Second One, she portrayed the character April Wexler, opposite Ian Ziering as Fin Shepard, and lost her hand after a shark bit her while she was on an airplane. She later recovered with a circular saw in place of the appendage after helping to save New York City from a tornado that rained killer sharks in the campy horror flick. Svelte: Tara looked particularly thin as she shot a side profile at the camera on the beach In an interview given this month to The Hollywood Reporter, Elizabeth Banks said: 'I used to go to auditions with Tara Reid. So, you know we didn't all make it. We're not all still here.' The actress went on to quip about Sharknado, saying: 'There was a group of us girls coming up. A lot of us are surviving. Some of us are not,' before adding: 'I do love Sharknado'. Reid responded to the low blow on TMZ that she has always liked Banks' movies. Tara will appear in the third Sharknado film, along with Ian Ziering, where the new shark-tornado attacks will wreck havoc in Washington, D.C. It will debut on Syfy in July.
