These low class losers love to gossip.
I feel like I cant escape the news lately. I feel like I might punch a muslim or collage student in the head when I see one. Anyone else feel like tuning out of the news? I like to know whats going on but I don't think I can handle it anymorem
Fantasy football for psuedo-intellectuals.
Less impact on the actual game, too.
I want to be a clueless idiot that doesn't know anything outside my little world I swear id be happier
Why do you need to know what's going on?
I haven't watched the news since I was 12. There's nothing positive for you mentally that can come out of it.
Feel Free to leave at any time shithead.
But then they would miss out on the breaking news about who the kardashians are fucking.
That's it exactly: it's your world.
Whatever you let into it is your own decision and choice. Why would you choose to let in problems and issues that only frustrate you and you have no feasible chance of impacting through your own mental proselytization?
I feel the same way. Last night it was especially difficult to find anywhere on the internet that wasn't in some way reporting or giving updates on what's going on in Paris. Even here, I had to sift through the doom and gloom on the front page to find silly threads to read.
12 threads if you include this gem
@BethSucks, is there any way for us all to change our avatars with the colors of the French flag to show our support for the people of Paris?
The threads themselves are ok but the people who only post in the political threads are starting to bug me a little
Dawg gave us the vote and majority decided to make it this way.
Wish Dawg would use his Gawd like powers and forbid politics in the stern forum.
i wish he would make the color of threads in the stern forum appear as a different color so we would notice the forum when we view on the New Posts page. Often i do not realize which forum i am posting in until some of the regular inhabitants make a stereotypical post, and then it is too late.
I am guilty of having this incident in the forefront of my mind.
I'm guessing many of the threads right now reflect those who are thinking the same.
I just choose to not participate in the blah-blah-blah, blame-blame-blame banter.
Buncha mental masturbation.
I'm not going to pretend I know the answers to any of this.
I have turned off my TV though. I've had enough of the visuals.
The Stern show is lame and there's a LOT going on in news and entertainment to fill the vacuum.
I find the political forums very funny. Major ball busting, but it's all in good fun.
I think of it like we're discussing topics that the Stern show WOULD have goofed on when it was good - which makes it show related.
