Serious discussion in the shitty house
so you both can be pretentious tools?
iphone is like crack
I like a real keyboard.
In the end, the iPhone does just what you need it to.
The droid has lots of cool features and ways to customize it, but do you really need to root your droid and unlock other carriers, change logos, install custom hacked apps ?
Naw, just need some apps, the phone to call people and e-mail. Also, the Droid apps are not really QA'd so, lots of them crash and do weird shit.
Droid's new Ice cream sandwich operating system is superior over any iphone.
Why don’t the Cubs use the internet?
Because they can’t get 3 “W’s” in a row.
The new droid operating system. Go to your wireless store and check one out. Check the iphone out too. Play with them yourself and don't let the salesman help make your decision because if he likes one or the other he will rave about it. People can be a braggart about their phone.
I love my iphone, and ii think it will only get better now that Jobs is gone -- I used to jailbreak, but it imprroved to the point that wasn't necessary (basically they copied the droids best features.)
I don't have either but I don't like the touch screen. I prefer something with raised keys. I know, I'm not hip like all the other sheep out there (did that sound bitter?), but just because something is new, it doesn't mean it's better.
I also laugh at Apple's aversion to building stable apps that can handle problems with Flash. Microsoft, Google and Mozilla bitch about Flash, but you don't see them disallowing the use of a plug-in that has something like what? 80% penetration in the market.
Think different. Think fail.
That's another thing that sucks, you'll go to a website and it needs flash, iphone wont use flash unless you jailbreak it.
So you have to go in and fuck with an inferior operating system to make it do what the droid already will.
I totally agree with the flash thing. - that's the sort of Jobs thing that pisses me off. -- I paid for the phone., I should be able to do whatever I want with it
I know why he did it, java is more stable. He wanted to eliminate flash and have a java run internet. Great idea but not practical.
It's the height of arrogance. Like he's our daddy and he's going to tell us what apps we can and can't run.
superior operating system, my fucking ass.
Don't get married.
Ditto. I currently have the R2-D2 Droid 2, because I am a nerd.
I've only had Droid phones, so I'd vote a big ol' NO to switching.
