Last week and throughout the weekend, I had a nasty flu and had no choice but to confine myself to my bed. I haven't listened to the show in a year or so, but my illness afforded me a lot of time to catch up with THSS and HowardTV. Here are some random conclusions... *Howard's new teeth are kind of weird and a bit too white, but they are an improvement. *Chaz Bono is a very sad, lost, depressed, damaged person and will most likely regret his "transformation" in 10 or 15 years. I liked the interview. *I like the new studio. *Robin is larger than ever, but her new, lighter dreadlocks distract from her traction alopecia. *I noticed in the video of Robin's Ayahuasca journey, the man on the side of the road put cookies and candy in the packet he rubbed on her body and drizzled it with cheap Peruvian wine. This made my sweetie and I come to the conclusion that Robin told the "shaman" that her demons were wine and sweets. *Richard's wedding was very sweet. The Stryper reference in his vows made me laugh. *Howard hinted at the end of November that he was in negotiations with AGT in the HowardTV episode where he's fooling with Siri on his new iPhone. He says something to the effect while imitating Siri, "No one's going to watch you on AGT". *Howard's Christmas presents to Robin in the past two years have suspiciously been things that his wife might be interested in purchasing herself. Case and point: last year he bought he an Hermes bag(though Robin has said in the past that she isn't interested in designer bags) and said that he bought a second one because Mrs. Stern begged him to. This year, he bought Robin a $5800 bracelet with an "R" on it. How much do you want to bet Mrs. Stern got one with either an "B" or an "H"(which she has boasted about loving as a letter((?!?!)))? She also received a $1300 wishbone necklace from a lady who is a jewelry designer "friend" of Mrs. Stern's(most likely a fellow "kept woman"). I've seen wishbone necklaces at the mall for a tenth of that price. I wonder if Robin will ever catch on that the gifts Howard gives her are just things that Mrs. Stern wants to buy for herself? *Rock-a-Bye Beetle was one of the funniest things I have seen or heard in a long time. "To sit on my own" hahahahaha. It was a fantastic interview, though I wish they would have gone into it more when Beet told Robin that he was a cop. ...all in all, I was entertained and only slightly annoyed. I will watch Howard on "America's Got Talent"(the horrible grammar of that show's title really shows what TV Executives think of the average American). I will also keep up with the show from time to time based on my experience as a bed-ridden Stern fan.
