    lets change this up...

    Simpsons VS Stern

who aged/died a more dignified death?

use to be a huge fan of both.. now i can not wait for them to die and be done with it

    http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/28/entertainment/smithers-comes-out-simpsons-feat/

(CNN)It's been hinted at and talked around, but mostly it was an open secret: Waylon Smithers Jr. is gay.

The sexual orientation of Smithers, loyal assistant to curmudgeonly billionaire Montgomery Burns, is no surprise to avid watchers of "The Simpsons." Now he will finally come out to his boss and, officially, to viewers in the show's 27th season.

Smithers' sexuality will be revealed over a two-episode arc, executive producer Al Jean told TV Line.

    Stern sucks more.
You might still get one laugh out of the Simpsons if you are lucky.
The only thing thats good about the stern show now is bashing it on the Shed .

There's literally only 8 or 9 quality seasons of The Simpsons out of like 28. Stern sucks, but the show has only been unlistenable for like 5 years, and was quality for what, at least 20 years?

Sorry, and it truly pains me to say this, Stern wins this battle of dog excrement.

Also, I can at least laugh at how shitty Stern is. The Simpsons is just sad any way you slice it.

Gross. I stopped in '97 or '98, but I watched the majority of that FXX marathon a year back just to confirm my ten-year old critical appraisal was accurate... It was.

I'm one of the few people who never watched the Simpsons. To be worse than pelican radio, it would have to be pretty bad.

I can't say anything bad about the Simpsons, don't watch it anymore but back in the day my sons and I would run to the couch and watch it religiously. (Just like the Simpsons ran to the couch.)

That said both Bart Simpson and Howard Stern are the similar in that had the exact same hair cut for the entire span of their careers.

Does that make Bart more of a cool hipster or Howard more of a cartoon character?

I'd have to say Howard. We have to take all of their actions into account here. The Simpsons aren't going back and editing old shows. The quality of the show has surely dropped but they aren't running from the past. They show hours of it several times a week on FXX or you could stream it on Hulu.

Try listening to Billy West being a racist woman from Boston on H101. Bring some supplies cause you will be waiting a long time.

Stern sucks out longer and remains a worthless cum rag.

The Simpsons usually make me laugh at least twice an episode.
Plus The Simpsons never pissed on me.

I have caught a few episodes of the Simpsons here and there, it's not what it used to be, but it did give me a few chuckles.

Stern is doing the beshht he can.

I got at least four chuckles on Sunday watching the Simpsons for 30 minutes. That's more than I have gotten from the last 30 day that I listened to HSS

While the Simpsons started to peter out in the early 2000's, they made a serious comeback to have a second life of really excellent episodes after the movie was released in 2007. This great second life probably lasted a good 5 years. Stern won't recover from this current bull shit path he's on. THIS is what he wants - main stream acceptance. The guy he was in the 80's and 90's was his route to this point. Lord knows he kept trying to get love from everyone at every step trying to get TV deals and doing that shitty movie.

Simpsons win this battle all day every day.

But I guess it's a tie in the end because Howard invented the Simpsons and Sam Simon and Matt Groening.
