I apologize if this is mentioned elsewhere, but this seems shocking ... and plausible. According to Artie on a recent podcast, Simon & Schuster tried to buy ads for "Crash and Burn" on Sirius but were turned down. These wouldn't need to be live reads but could be third party read spots. So Sirius can run ads for payday loans, testical deodorant, cheat sites and toilet seats, but they can't run an ad from one of the country's top publishers? This is pretty despicable, if Howard blacklisted the ads.
