I always get notification by mail and by email well in advance of a renewal date.

...you have to cancel the credit/debit card and get a new one with a new number or they will keep charging it. unless you cancel.

They used to do it to me all the time, After telling them not to. Used to piss me off. just one of the many reasons I canceled.

Sirius is notorious for these type of shenanigans. If you notified them NOT to renew automatically then tell your credit card company/bank that the charges are NOT AUTHORIZED! Let the CC/Bank company turn it over to their legal dept. If they find that you did indeed tell them not to auto renew, you're off the hook. Most likely Sirius will offer you six months free or something like that just to keep you as a subscriber.

I wanted to. My wife said she can't live without HairNation. I think I'm getting a divorce.

    70% finance CNBC type shows
    20% mad dog
    10% stern

In the end way too many commercials for me

But I may bite again at another deal

Just threaten to cancel. They transfer you to another Indian that barely speaks English. Yell at the Indian, get a reduced rate.

They did this with my vehicles too. I said do not renew, note it, etc etc over the phone to the guy in South America..... Get hit for two renewals and call back, like WTF. Now the call center girl in the Philippines tries to run me around, says they can discount my renewals.... No, just cancel and reverse the charges ..... Took a week, but got it done.

It used to be so easy when the Sirius call center was in Idaho....

This is wise. I did this by accident with an auto-renew acct by accident. Losing your debit card can be a positive thing

You have to cancel or they will auto-renew. They tried to send me to collections for $25. Had to report them to the BBB to get it resolved.
