I was wondering if someone here has it. Does it include internet radio? The weird thing is that I can't find it anywhere on their website.

Yes, and yes. But after your 3rd new radio/receiver/unit, its $75 reactivation fee. UNLESS you raise holy hell, then its free...

Had one until it expired. Decided not to re-up.

How does a life-time subscription expire?

That sounds like a deal I'd be interested in. I can't find it anywhere on the SiriusXM website though.

I saw a couple of 2nd hand radios on ebay with a lifetime subscription. Is this a rip-off and would it work on my account?

Technically, yes. Their records show that I expired as of 12/08. Once I expired, so too did the contract.

I have an internet-only subscription and there was nothing to choose from about any bandwidth. At what bitrate do you stream? To me, some channels sound like 128k and some sound like 96k or even 64k at times. I feel like I should get the full 320k or at least 192k for the $14,95 (+$2 of goddamn Florida salestax) I pay each month. I love it, I listen to the music channels pretty much all day but it's really expensive.

    So that's a rip-off.

Thanks. Wish my family felt the same way. Not even a phone call.

Call me an audio-freak, but 128k MP3 is far from what I would consider 'premium'.

Can you re-post that link, please? I'm curious.

Pandora + podcasts = fuck SiriusXM. Their programming is awful now.

I disagree. I enjoy the music channels very much.

to each his/her own, but I'd rather pay $0 to listen to the same music on Pandora or Google Music and have it sound 1000 times better, too.

The thing is that I enjoy the whole idea of radio. I like having someone tell me a little story in-between every few songs. Audo-picked stuff like Pandora or Spotify is just a bit too clinical for me. I like the idea of someone on the other side of my stereo playing up a record for me.

The lifetime subscription option was yanked over a year ago. I've gotten my moneys worth already and there are still many good places on the Sirius dial

That's great. How much did he pay? The lifetime thing basically includes one satellite and one internet subscription, right?
