Really? What a joke
Almost time for another amazing stock dump
That's only relevant for those suckers subscribers who pay full price.
Paid the $500 lifetime subscription back in 2006. Got my money's worth by the time Artie left and the bottom fell out.
Guess I'll continue streaming internet radio and listening to podcasts.
I'll pay. I like Sirius not just for Howard. I don't listen to pod casts nor really have a way to. Sometimes I use my iPod for long trips to listen to some long rush or dream theater albums, but that's really about it. I'm all about the boneyard and lithium and the 80's channel.
6 months for $25 my asshole
Paid 350.00 for a liftime subscription years ago and i'm still using my first receiver.
Satellite was a great idea but internet streaming was better and now....more popular.
What do I need for a pod cast in my car? Just my iPod touch? I only have WiFi on it though
I'm amazed that your first receiver is still working! Those early satellite radios were garbage and broke down constantly. Come to think of it the later ones did too.
Howard is all in. They're gonna need more marbles.
Raise prices eh? time to work 2 days a week right robin?
I personally told Mel Karmazan that I would not pay another dime for this - not one more antenna, not one more internet subscription .....NOTHING.
Remember to cancel and let them beg you to return. No one forced them to pay that lazy Motherfucker who works a 120 days a year so much money.
Isn't going to cost me a dime. I cancelled a long time ago with the plan of obtaining the show via other methods. After a few weeks, I didn't even bother doing that anymore as it wasn't even worth the few clicks of the mouse to obtain it.
As long as you have an auxiliary port in your stereo, all you have to do is buy a cable and you're rocking and rolling. I have a cheap ass mp3 player I bought at Wal Fart for like 20 bucks, loaded it down with podcasts and just play them.
I still have a radio that I am not paying a dime for. I went to call and cancel the subscription for it a while back and they told me the radio wasn't activated. I told them it was and I wanted to make sure that I am not being charged. They insisted that it was not active and I wasn't being charged. So who was I to argue. I turned around and canceled my other subscription for my other radio and now only use that radio that apparently isn't active although I get all the Sirius channels and my online subscription.
Anyone know if Sirius is going to raise the price of the free subscriptions?
If you call to cancel, they will offer you discounted rate. I'm currently on a 5 month for $25 plan. Best offer was the same $25 for 6 months.
But I'm struggling to find reason to even pay the 25 bucks. I have found pandora and iTunes music to be vastly more enjoyable to the music offerings on Sirius. I have an unlimited phone data plan so I don't have to worry about data use. When I want to listen to talk radio, I'll listen to a couple podcasts either already downloaded or streamed.
I strung together a series of 6 months for $25 but quit b/c the HSS sucks and they kept playing the same classic shows over and over. As for the other channels, I can get exactly what songs I want when I want them thru streaming Internet and not have to deal with the shitty satellite setup that requires you to tilt the receiver south and all that. Satellite radio never made much sense as a proprietary system 10 years ago. Today it's dead unless they continue to muscle the product into new cats and rental car fleets.
I have a shitty $49 Kenwood that lasted 8 years so far
