Not sure if the actual numbers have been discussed here or not but according to this article, Sirius XM lost 11 million subscribers the past 2 years, 4 million in 2010 and 7 million in 2011. However they did have a net increase of 3 million over that same time. How many of those are new car activations I wonder? How many subscribers have been given discounted rates to keep them active? There's a lot of manipulation to these numbers for sure.

With all the rumblings about Liberty Media take over could this signify a rocky road ahead for our fearless shock jock and all Sirius XM talent?

if they don't disable your radio even if you don't pay, do they still count you as a subscriber? wouldn't surprise me

can i ask an honest question that may sound retarded...remember a few weeks ago a ton of us got those letters from sirius that our accounts had been turned on for 2 weeks?

any chance they do this right before pulling whatever subscriber numbers they use for their annual reporting?

They never have 100/101 as part of the 'preview'. They really fucking hate him.

The last offer I got was for all 120! channels. I guess this would include 100/101?

I think the SEC would take a dim view of that because subscription numbers could directly impact stock price, but :dontknow:
