Think about it, 0.0 are gone, if not now for sure in October. Give the channel to Howard and watch XM subs explode. No one ever bought "Best of XM" anyhow since no one listened to that sh*t show, so Sirius wouldn't lose any revenue. They would gain millions from all the new subscribers.

Putting aside that the thread was started by a joke/fake persona account for a moment, the reality is if SiriusXM were interested in growing their subscribers, Howard would've already been replaced by someone else interested in actually doing a show that brings in new subscribers at a rate greater than they alienate existing ones.

They're obviously happy to just shuffle along in debt and overpay for mediocrity on his best day. Nobody actually knows how SiriusXM still exists when factoring all the millions they squander on celebrity "endorsement deals" where people are paid to NOT DO SHOWS. Its one of the great mysteries.

Expending any kind of extra energy -- including negs -- on a fake/troll account is like feeding nutrients to a tumor.

They'd have to pay Howchie more money. The new sheriff in town doesn't like paying $80 million for a show that doesn't bring in the subs anymore.

Give him 0.0's money plus a percentage of new XM subs.

Howie hasn't brought in subscribers since 2008. I cannot imagine anybody subscribing today based on the content of the HSS, or his "performances" on AGT. He doesn't have any heat anymore....he is a name only, and is completely irrelevant. If ratings numbers were published, the results would be shocking to ass-kissers like Stern68.

Arbitron ratings showed Howie has 1.2 million cumulative listeners a week back in 2007....anybody want to try to convince me that those numbers have increased since then? Highly, highly doubtful. The "Stern effect" has been dead for years now.

The Arbitron figures were flawed, that's why they never did another ratings book with that company. In addition 2007 was pre-merger when Sirius had only a few million subscribers, now thanks to Howard, Sirius was able to take over XM and they have 26 million subscriptions. The latest published estimates give Stern between 9 and 12 million listeners.
