Well, they use Stern math. So 140% of the Stern Show listeners are more likely to have income from $150-250k? So out of Howard's 12 million supposed listeners, 16.8 million are making over $150k. And let's not forget they say another 100% of his listeners make from $75-149k. So by my math, out of Howard's 12 million listeners, 28.8 million listeners make over $75k.

Advertising on the Stern Show is even more of a bargain than I thought. Where else can you advertise to 12 million faithful listeners and reach a target of 28.8 million listeners with incomes over $75k.

Have you looked at the testimonial page? Have you ever heard commercials from Executive Jet, Datek Online (They do Scottstrade and by the testimonial they advertised when he was on terrestrial radio),
Newsmax.com, or STEURMAN & SONS INC.?

BTW, the fact that there are so many ad companies dedicating sites to sell air time on the Stern Show tells me that their ad agency discount for the Stern Show has to be pretty good. These ad companies will sell ad time to unsuspecting companies at the rate card rate (no one pays rate card rate) and pocket 50-75% of the rate because they can get those kinds of discounts depending on how desperate the show they are buying ads from are to sell time.

In other words, the Stern Show rate cards are still fairly high and they can't get advertisers. So these companies are capitalizing on his falling name recognition to get huge fees from companies that don't know any better.
