This time he’s back for a South Point weekend with Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling and “Stuttering John” Melendez, both best known for their days on “The Howard Stern Show.” Slayton says he doesn’t know either that well. “I started going on (rival radio hosts) Opie and Anthony and it’s usually one or the other.” One thing he does know: “I’m not working with a puppet or a tiger.” Slayton was originally co-billed with veteran comedian Kevin Pollak, who had to bow out when his documentary “Misery Loves Comedy” was picked up by the Sundance Film Festival. But Slayton is in the documentary about comedians, so he’s happy to soldier on.
