There was a new sneaker being released tonight and the police had to hire details for the mall.

Do girls even care what kind of shoes a guy wears? Cuz that's the only way I would have spent money on them back in the day. If it doesn't get me laid, it doesn't cost me a thing.

Stupid, rich white kids from NY just waiting to be robbed.

Where's the IRS anyway?! Why aren't these little assholes paying their "fair share", as the president would say.

Oh, they're too busy persecuting honest Americans for political gain. Sry, I should have known better.

When substance is missing, human beings will find something to fill the vaccum. In today's shallow vapid society this makes sense, even if it seems like a deleted scene from "Idiocracy". Old rich bags will donate hundreds of thousands they can't really afford to get on a board that supervises a ballet for some sense of having "made it". Most human beings are generally unthinking nitwits who never reflect on why they do what they do and behave barely less instinctively than a mama bird sitting on its eggs.

If you think you're considered "cool" because of your sneakers you have much more serious issues than what you're wearing.

I never understood the whole fascination with sneakers. I had friends who were into it and it just seemed stupid to me. Most of these shoes look ridiculous just by themselves and when you add them to some goofy looking teenager it reaches a whole new level of "you sure look retarded."

The only pair of high dollar shoes I've ever bought we're a pair of 1985 air Jordan's. paid 65 bucks for them which was crazy in 1985. Only wore them three times and still have the original box and tags they came with. Being a skinny white kid at school wearing them only got me threats from the black folks that only wanted to steal them. Boxed them up and with time I forgot about them. Wonder what they would ebay for now?

A woman doesn't care about sneakers, unless she's some dumb teeny bopper. However, women do like good shoes. And they do look at them on you. I'll share some advice I was given as a teenager by my grandfather- Women appreciate a man who dresses properly and wears good shoes. A $100 pair of shoes will last you a few years, and look ok, but a $400 pair of shoes will last a lifetime and look great. Get yourself a nice fitting, dark suit. A nice tie, and some good shoes, and you're going to get looks. You're going to feel like a million bucks too.

if everyone paid their fair share, then you could pay less, so how is "fair" a bad thing?
or you think its fair already?

    sneakers is all marketing.
i rem in highschool some nerd guy come into the locker room after basketball practice and gave us all Puma shoes and T shirts.
i supported that brand for a lot years so i guess it worked. i mostly liked them cause it was different than what most everyone else had. and had a cool logo :p
or maybe they hope the 1 kid that becomes a star will endorse them later

From well over $100 to several hundred, I just checked. Looks like you made a decent investment.

I watched a news piece about these sneaker head kids. Don't see the big deal. In a way they are like I was a kid with comic books. Although they seem be exchanging a lot more than I ever did or have for comics. It's just collectors paying collector prices for stuff. They will learn the hard way that values on the collector market can swing wildly.
