Might be worth watching. I'm sure it's been shown on VH1 and Hulu but NBC probably hasn't aired it in 30-40 years.

I'm going to have to miss the reunion show tomorrow night for Walking Dead.

This is basically my reaction to the first decade of SNL:

Actually they aired it a year or two ago. I won't ruin it for you. But it's interesting how they structured that first show. As you'll see, it's a little different from the way they've done it for most of the last forty years. I'm not sure if they did it the way did for just the first show or if they followed the structure for a few shows before settling into the way it is now.

I was 8 yrs old when it first aired. My parents would have been 27 and let my younger sister and I stay up and watch it. I am sure my pop smoked a j on saturday nights. My parents would put on a stack of records and let them play all night. Traffic, Santana, War, Humble Pie, Fleetwood Mac, Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, My sister and I would dance and run through the house. Sorry, I just had a wicked flashback.
Jim Henson's psychedelic muppets! even as a kid I knew they were a little fucked up.

Watched it live. Got lots of talk at high school the next Monday. I was already into the Lampoon stuff though
