So did that horrible looking Munsters remake with Jerry O Connel actually air?

Google keeps telling me that it was scheduled to air as a Halloween special, but I can't seem to find anything more about it. Did it ever come on?

NBC aired it last Friday as a one time special... Didn't watch.

Oh yeah, if Howard liked it, then it must be REALLY bad... like AGT, Train and Maroon 5 bad.

    Meh.

It actually wasn't bad. It's on Hulu. It's billed as a drama. It helps not to think of it as The Munsters.
But yeah, it was cancelled before it aired. It looked pretty expensive.
Bryan Singer (X-Men 2, The Usual Suspects) directed it.

I'm waiting for the big-screen remake of Petticoat Junction.

The Pilot was aired with the option of making more if it did well in the ratings. I think 5 or 6 million tuned in. Not sure if that is 'well' enough or not.

Jerry O'Connell was the worst part of it. He is fucking worthless and is like the Bizzarro Ted McGinley. Ted would come into a successful sitcom and kill it but Jerry stars in sitcoms and kills them before they even start.

I was channel surfing and saw Jerry looking more like Gomez Adams than Herman Munster.

The whole thing was weird. It was supposed to be a Munsters update but without the comedy. What made The Munsters good WAS the comedy! I really have no idea how Jerry O'Connell has a job. He must suck a cock better than his hot wife.

My wife said she saw it on. She couldn't even tell it was based on the Munsters.

Ted didn't kill Married with Children. It just got better after they brought him in. Gave Al an ally.

I can't stand the guy. Especially after claiming to be the biggest super fan there is and then couldn't answer questions that a casual listener would know. Huge poser.

That's the one show he didn't kill. Jon Hein used to have a special section on the old Jump The Shark website dedicated to Ted.

I watched for five minutes and I want a refund on my life. That shit was unwatchable-bad. Surprised it didn't get cancelled during the commercial break.
