Any unexpected surprises come up since you bought the new house?
interesting thread. will subscribe.
Poor hipster baby
none at all. so far, owning a house is even better than i imagined. everything works great. i do want to replace the kitchen appliances and do some remodeling of the master bath, but that's pretty much it. oh, and add some river rock around the outside of the house in some places.
i do have something in my furnace room that i don't understand. i'll post a pic in a minute for advice.
I watch a bunch of HGTV and it really makes you nervous when you see people discover bad shit about their new house that costs them a shitload. So much easier to let a landlord deal with stuff like that.
When would a surprise NOT be unexpected???
she makes a good point
Don't crack wise.
ok so these things are in my furnace room. i think they might be related but i'm not sure.
I gotta be me.
whole house humidification system
any idear how to use it? i don't want to have to use this google thing to find out.
I just took a wild guess based on the control and the logo with the water droplets.
Is there a water line run to that unit hanging from the ceiling?
the one on the bottom is a vent/exchanger for radiant heat
ah thanks! it's an energy recovery/efficiency ventilation system. now to find the right model number so i can download the operation guide from the website.
seems pretty legit.
