I remember listening to both Howard, Artie, and Gary prattle on just a few years ago about how Howard was an "A" list celebrity. If the "A" list includes folks like Jack Nicholson, Clint Eastwood, Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, and Robert DeNiro, Howard hasn't been that well known since the late 1990s. I'm not queer enough to watch AGT, but it occurred to me that by joining that show, Howard is now placing himself on the level of the other judges (past and present.) I had to go to Wikipedia to look up info on AGT to get the background, but here it is: 1) Sharon Osbourn--MTV reality-tv star, co-host of a poorly rated talk show, and wife of Ozzy--B-List at best; probably a C-list celeb 2) Howie Mandel--Famous comedian 30 years ago. Part of a hit TV series 25 years ago. Recent host of a game show. C-list at best 3) David Hasselhoff--Star of 2 hit series--30 and 20 years ago; known drunk. D-lister 4) Piers Morgan--CNN host. B-list at best. 5) Brandy Norwood--No idea who this broad is/was. She lasted one season on AGT. I'd put her on the "F" list Even the AGT hosts are fucking jokes...Regis Philbin, Jerry Springer, and Nick Cannon. I just find it kind of sad that Howard is whoring himself to gain acceptance from a middle-America audience that he honestly seems to have nothing but contempt for.
