My dog went into season awhile back and to have peace in the house (I have a male dog) I put her in the fenced backyard. Well, the other night at dusk I was sitting on the deck just relaxing and I saw what at first I thought was a large dog creeping around just at the edge on my sightline. After a while, I realized it was a fox and took my dog in. Later that evening, just at dusk, I saw him at the fenceline marking.

Since then I've seen him several times and even found a few of his kills-bones, feathers, etc. I don't want to hurt him but I don't want a horny fox hanging around. I'm not worried about either of my dogs safety, they would be more than an even match for a fox.

Please don't make a mockery of this.

If you're actually serious call fish and game and borrow a trap.

. We could go on and on about amstaffs and pits for a few hours, but without knowing the specific lines the dogs were bred down from it would be pointless.

Without belaboring this, I spent a lot of time researching the specific dogs I was interested in and their foundation stock. You might not value what I value, but it was far from a random decision. I owned a number of pits as well.

Actually I admire him. That house is in suburbia with just a few random wooded areas. I like that he can make a living out there. Just don't want him porking my dog.
