"Tropic Thunder" totally ripped off this movie.
Howard invented this concept
Watching Three Amigos is the fake story, Mike.
Tropic Thunder was funny 3amigos was the worst movie I ever saw in a theater, and I'm a big Steve Martin fan.
I remember seeing it because I was young and a martin short and steve martin fan.
I just kept waiting for the funny, didnt laugh once.
Was there a signing bush in Tropic Thunder?
You're kidding, right?
that's an age old plot. I think it was The 7th Samurai first.
Also used for Pixar's "A Bug's Life."
That was my sister's fave movie..Never got the interest..None of them were hot, the movie wasn't funny
Labyrinth with David Bowie..Now that's a movie you can watch a million times....
Would you say I had a plethora of pinatas?
No but there was a singing bush
blazing saddles was too
No the OP is saying that Tropic Ripped off Three Amigos premise that actors think they are doing a show when they are actually in the real shit. He has a point. Also three Amigos is pretty funny.
Get used to it. Half the movies coming out now are sequels, remakes, or just recycled ideas. Hollywood ran out of new ideas a long time ago.
Right. That's exactly what I meant. And I also think it's a funny movie, I guess I'm in the minority though.
I agree that 3 Amigos is funny but the word is funny and anything funny Howard invented. I can't believe Howard hasn't claimed to have come up with The Honeymooners or I Love Lucy at this point.
Did you know that Howard came up with American Idol?
If he did, he's a way bigger homo than I already think he is... and that's pretty big.
He's a judge on AGT...isn't that enough proof to you? Even Ned Nederlander (who I had doubts about in the movie) would be able to see the truth.
Oh, absolutely. And when it comes to all the gay ass shit popular music (which is almost all of it), he's unquestionably part of the problem.
