Is there that large a percentage of the population that has a multi-year payout? I don't know anyone like that, but they make it seem like there are enough big lotto winners or insurance settlements out there to justify this kind of business. I feel like I'm missing out. End rant.

Hey, those law school bills don't pay themselves. And actually learning a body of law takes some effort. Much easier to go the transactional route or do torts, drunk driving and wills & estates, since you can charge $350 an hour for work that any college student could do with the right outline.

"Robin, I was able to work out a structured settlement to get Emily back from ISIS, the ballon payment won't be due until after I'm dead and the fans can donate to building the ISIS Information center here, it will be called Bianca's Headless Friends, a win-win for everyone"

...i dont have a structured settlement that i know of but i am dealing with a hostile trustee who came out of the gate in breach of his fiduciary responsibilities. if anybody ever wants you to be a trustee tell them no. its a pita to be one and youre open to a ton of liability.

We've been getting a ton of "trans vaginal mesh" lawyer commercials for a while now. What the hell is going on?

these were used for women with issues caused from natural child birth. apparently, they caused more issues than they remedied.

I think that has to do with having alot of children. Though it may have something to do with those sex change surgeries. That's butchery in the first place. The way new class actions pop up everyday really makes me hate the law 'industry'. Doesn't stop me from creating new class action suits in my head though. End rant.

From an advertising standpoint these are direct response commercials and relatively cheap to run. They are fishing for those 1-2 "accident victims" etc who won a boatload of cash in some sort of judgement and are stupid enough to hand it over to these lawyers on the cheap.
