Thank god for diversity.
As long as it has the iconic theme song.
No, it'll be some hip urban bullshit.
It's the new norm, every classic character will now be portrayed by a black, Cedric the entertainer as Ralph cramden, will smiths son as Daniel larusa, will smiths daughter as Annie
This will go over better than the remake of Rockford Files with Durmut Mulrooney, a few years ago.....that I just heard about yesterday.
There was an odd couple remake a few years ago with both of them black.
Have you never seen remakes of classic Japanese films with white American actors? Does this offend you as well?
Are these films marketed primarily to Japanese audiences?
No I haven't, and I didn't say it offends me I just said it was the new norm. If they can make the films better with black actors so be it but they haven't yet so fuck them and their shitty cast
it's far from the norm. There are probably 10-20 recurring black characters on television, and more like 1-2 leads on major networks.
do you object to white singers recording (stealing) the work of black musicians?
Yeah, that's totally the same thing.
I'm wrong? list the network shows with black leads and recurring characters.
here I'll start
why isn't it? music, TV, film, theater, all arts. Take an iconic song sung by a black person and give it to a white person ---take an iconic role played by a white person and give it to a black person.
Oh no. You're obviously never wrong.
