...because I chew a LOT of it. I've been chewing it nonstop for almost 10 years. I even sleep with it, and sometimes I wake up just to pop a fresh piece in my maw.

So I'm taking the Wellbutrin and I get the nic fits something awful. But the Wellbutrin makes me sick with the thought of the gum.

    It's a conflict.

Anybody take Zyban or Wellbutrin to get off cigs and go through this?

I've heard from a couple people that it worked for them but no personal experience. Good luck with it.

And the nic fits are bad. I've got that Bob Dole hand thing going on. It only wants to squeeze a pen and it won't let go.

No but my sis-in-law took Wellbutrin for....I don't remember anxiety or some shit years ago. It turned her into a zombie. She would go to take out the trash and wake up in the driveway with the trash bag scattered all over the place

Just sayin be careful with that stuff it's STRONG

I took Zyban to get off smokes. Unsuccessfully! :derp:
A couple weeks into the pills I was rushed to the hospital, struggling to breathe and covered from head to toe in hives.
Had to take one of my kids to emergency several years later, and one of the nurses asked me if I was the "Zyban guy."

Anyway, same as you -- heavy on the gum for about a decade.

Gave it up cold turkey six months ago.

Then when I go to chew the gum, I get all sick to my stomach like I've been exposed to the Ludovico technique or some shit.

    Right :jj:

She would just sit there and not talk for hours. Watch TV but not know what she was watching. Start a sentence and trail off. Wake up on the floor and not know why....I don't know if it affects everybody like that but it sure did her

I was on Wellbutrin for a while for depression and it did nothing. Absolutely void of any effect.

I tried bigger dosages. I was just immune somehow. I'm fine now. I'm perfectly normal so it doesn't matter anyway.:happyhappy:

Chantix here too. Worked awesome for me, really strange dreams though.

I tried Zyban years before and it did nothing for me. It's like I wasn't even taking anything.
