Softest metal ever and their stores smell like carcinogens.
Why buy cheap hand tools??? If you buy quality tools you only have to buy them once!
I agree. I went there for hex wrenches and saw the screwdrivers. Since I needed some small screwdrivers (that didn't need to be super strong) I grabbed a set because it was only a few buck. Needless to say the screwdrivers look like Twizzlers after one use.
I wanted to get some wheel dollies to put under a car. Harbor freight had them the cheapest. Before I pulled the trigger, I read some of the reviews online. Most of the people said that the casters wouldn't turn with the weight of the car on them. I guess you get what you pay for. I bought a heat gun there this summer because I knew I'd only use it a few times total. It worked for what I needed at the time.
BTW, Klein hand tools and a few others have lifetime warranties. I've taken Klein stuff back and had it replaced, no receipt, no question.
I got a free tape measure there because I had a coupon. It was still a rip off
I have a couple of tape measures and a couple of other things. That place is OK if you are careful about what you are buying. I've bought fittings for my air compressor but I'd never buy an air tool there.
They used to sell handcuffs there.
I told you not to be stupid, you moron.
I get so confused when both gwarn & gwartney post in the same thread.
The led headband thing is good though.
I got a free tarp.
When Gadmus joins in also it turns into a cluster
She's extra scary
i bought a little air compressor there this week. they were giving away screwdriver sets with any purchase.
i told them no thanks.
and to think DB called gwartney an idiot on Sunday.
who's the dumbass now?
