This doesn't surprise me. The liberal professors do lessons like this all the time. They have the students make a list and then they try to prove how ridiculous those thoughts were and how brain washed people are. I bet the notes are for Sociology 101. That is the initial college brain washing course.

About the handwriting... If the student is a lefty his or her hand writing might be that bad because when you learn how to write in elementary school they only teach righties who push the pencil across the page and leave lefties who pull the pencil to figure it out on their own.

Sorry lefties push the pencil, righties pull the pencil... my bad

I'm sure I'm not alone here but when a post starts out with "those liberals", I immediately do what I do when I see "those conservatives. I don't read it.
It immediately nullifies any point you were attempting to make...

My first day in Sociology 101 (Reagan era) the professor announced that IRAs were a rip off and a plan by Republicans to overtax poor people.

I didn't realize that "Africa is a country" is a common stereotype.

When I was in college, one dude turned in a term paper with the premise that blacks were inferior to other races. It surprisingly didn't get him into any trouble, although it didn't go over too well with the black residents of the dorm who heard about it.

The next question the professor asks: Who here in this class is a racist- they expect all the white students to raise their hands because in order to be a racist you must have the power.

nothing in the above is inherently wrong. i just found the overall tone somewhat condescending. As if these 'stereotypes' appear entirely in a racist vacuum and don't come from very real concerns and issues related to the state of post-colonial black-africa and black-african culture in general.

and my god the handwriting! it's not that it's messy, which is expected when jotting down notes. it's just so damn childlike/remedial.
