The Ukraine owes us interest on that load, if we gave that 1 billion to the Vets, we'd never see anything back from it. :coffee:

I know a lot of you love the republicans but doesn't this seem like a total dick more on their part? Happy to send em to war, happy to spend on the military but not willing to pay to support the troops after. Right?

Foreign Aid like this drives me nuts. The government has no money. Its the tax payers money and I wonder how many would really decide to send foreign aid if they had to write a check.

As for a "loan", uh, yeah, um, ok. Maybe with the interest we obtain we can buy this:

Ukraine doesn't have to pay a single penny back and the United States will have accomplished what they wanted to accomplish. And that is to control more of Ukraine's oil and ports and land. And most importantly, hold financial control over the country by having ukraine indebted to the IMF and western banks instead of Russia.

And this quote could have been said by any "politician/ruler" since the first cave man elected himself special and told other cavemen to do the killing in his stead. Meet the new boss...

Unfortunately, that is not in step with this country's meddling interventionist policies. The big banks want more control. And what the big banks want, the big banks get.

1 billion dollars is such a minuscule amount to even get bothered by. The financial bailouts and continued Fed intervention in our own country is what people should be riled up against.

But in a perfect world I agree with you. Fuck Ukraine and fuck the dozens and dozens and dozens of other countries the united sates continues to meddle with.

Btw, the new prime minister who took over after this CIA-orchestrated (rumor) revolt is a Jewish central banker!!!

They spent more buying rubber stamps and red ink pads that say "DENIED" than needs for the wounded being met.

Yep - this is another screw job by the republicans all under the guise of 'fiscal responsibility'

Paul Krugman has proven MANY times that a country is not like a household. WE DONT NEED to balance budgets and cut spending - nations are different than people. We can continuously be in debt and improve the economy at the same time.
