How do you handle THAT?
Call her a cunt, move on
Is it legit grounds for Big D? Or would the petitioner have to throw in some extra shit?
Call her a cunt, pay it off, and move on? That's it? Keep a lock down on finances hereafter?
We're talking low 5 figures, btw.
Is....your state.....a no-fault state?
Mrs. Tater would never. Would she?
I worked with a guy who came to me in tears one day at work. He desperately needed money.
He discovered that his wife had run up $40,000 in credit card debt, and had also embezzled $25,000 from her employer.
I never did find out what she was doing with the cash. The two of them were bringing in $130,000+ per year!
My friend's state you mean? I dunno.
Assume it is Tennessee.
Mlaw probably has better insight but I believe that this is a major reason listed(secret debt/financial issues) for divorces. Personally I feel its enough, it is ultimately a trust issue and if she is lying about that, what else is she lying about?
Whoa I was only kidding but did you say 5 figures?
That's serious (srs)
Things pretty awkward at teh Vyb house?
In a no-fault state you can get a divorce because it's Thursday. You might want to look into it
Yeah, looks like about $25,000. Could be more once the smoke clears.
It's not me. It's my nucca Voodoo Doll.
And assume it has happened before, to a smaller degree, and you paid that off awhile ago.
It's your friend's call. What does he want to do?
It sounds like his wife might have some......issues
Pay it off. Then ask for insane sexual favors into perpetuity. I would demand
that she give you her butt at least once a week, hopefully she will hate it...
He doesn't know what to do. She's the mother of his kid, and he adores that kid. She's a pretty good mom but def has issues.
Who is expected to pay off this debt?
That's a pretty serious secret... and not the first time it's happened? Yikes.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me?
That being said, it's probably something I would be willing to forgive. Love the sinner, hate the sin mentality, I guess.
