Bolton Eco House
Dani Ridge House
Fallingwater was featured on the cover of Time Magazine, January 1938
Fallingwater is the only major Wright-designed house to open to the public with its furnishings, artwork, and setting intact
Frank Lloyd Wright once suggested that the house's concrete surfaces be coated in gold leaf
Over 4 million people have visited Fallingwater since it opened in 1964.
The final cost for Fallingwater was $155,000 (Included $8,000 architect's fees, and $4,500 for installed walnut furnishings)
If you plan to visit in July, August or October (peak months), call at least two weeks in advance to book your reservations.
Oh my god. Stunning.
I want one
The setting of the house is more important to me than the architecture. The ones on the coast or with a vista of some sort are best. Some of the ones in the woods are downright depressing.
Those are really cool, holmes.
