Jerry gave Howard a bag of cash at the end of the date and Howard took it.

I think the deal is they go into a grocery store to check out how much shit costs.

I don't know the prank other than it's two very wealthy guys who haven't grocery shopped in decades making fun of what the hoi polloi tolerate every day.

Ok, thanks. I didn't know he had a new show. So he gives howie a bag of money for showing up and he took it? :jj: that is pretty funny.

Yeah, it's something called Comedians in Cars getting Coffee. I haven't seen it but have seen or heard ads and it goes something like this: Seinfeld picks up a comedian in his car, drives, and they talk and go get coffee. To talk some more.

I guess it's kind of an informal interview show.

Yeah, it sounds like it could get reaaaaal boring real fast. Now, if Seinfeld did one with Larry David? That could be fun. Doug Stanhope would be another fun one.

The preview I saw was with Chris Rock. I don't know about you, but Rock seems like a boring guy to me. No interest in that one.

He mentioned something about splitting up the money. Giving some to one person and the rest to Beth. He just made it sound like it was a lot of money (to a normal person anyways).

Oh yeah? Thanks for the info. I may check it out. . . I just thought about it realistically. No matter who is the guest, it still has Jerry Seinfeld.

He's one of the most annoying cunts in entertainment, IMO.

I'll bet the entire show was Jerry goofing on Howard and he's too stupid and not nearly funny enough to form any come backs.

Someone gives Super Jew Stern a bag of money and you don't think he's going to keep it? That is pretty funny of Jerry.

If Jerry gave Howard a bag of money as a joke, then the implication is that Howard is a money-grubber despite being super-wealthy. Only another Jew would dare pull a prank like that because if anyone else did, they'd immediately be accused of being an anti-semite. Howard's feeble explanation that he gave the money away (to his super-wealthy wife) is an attempt to undermine how bad this shit makes him look.

On a similar note, around 20 years ago I read about a guy who would send checks to celebrities for ridiculously low amounts of money (e.g. 59 cents). One of his goals was to collect their signatures from the checks, but the article really made fun of the celebs who actually bothered to cash the checks (Cher was one). If I had over half-a-billion dollars in the bank, I doubt I'd take a paper bag filled with cash out of a grocery store.
