Where nothing matters and nothing makes me happy. It really sucks when i go there and it's tough to get out of it when it happens.

    Anyone else battle this shit?

...but you don't want my advice on what to do. Cause chances are the methods I take to battle it are the wrong fucking things. :jj:

All I fucking do is work. I work 7 days a week and have nothing to show for it. Day after day it's the same old bullshit. Deadlines and travel have taken it's toll.

At least I got you to laugh.

Listen to some Bob Marley, DAWG. It helps me in bad times.

I hear ya. I'm more stressed in my life right now than I've ever been. Plus I'm unsure of almost every decision I've made up to this point. I have a whole fuckload of issues swirling around in my head at all times. And my means of dealing with these issues? Well, they just cause MORE issues. So there's no winning.

The ONE thing I find comfort in is music. If I'm pissed or sad I can listen to music that makes me happy and it really DOES work. It's literally like a drug. Just brings me right out of it. OR I'll listen to deep, emotional/melancholy music... or angry music; whichever matches my mood. Because sometimes I don't want to come out of my mood- sometimes I want to wallow in it. The music helps me do that. And afterward, for some reason, I feel better. Sometimes really embracing what you're feeling and fostering it with music or whatever is very therapeutic.

My problems stem from anxiety. I have suffered from that since i was 8 years old. Thats when i had my first panic attack. Sometimes fear and anxiety happen to me for no reason at all and it sucks!

Truth. Sometimes I wake up feeling like shit and am forcing myself to go to work, get my ass out of the house etc. and a song will just stick in my head. Or a "snappy remix" of a song or whatever. Helps me through the day/night. The genre/station in my head changes everyday. :dontknow:

One thing I've found that helps me out of my dark place, is to log on here and feel glad that I'm not Schmoopy.

I used to get panic attacks too. Have you ever tried Paxil? Paxil is a anti-anxiety medication and it also fights depression. I've been taking 40mg of Paxil daily for about 7 years now. I haven't had one panic attack and I'm pretty much always in a good mood. It's changed my life for the better. :hat:
