There is virtually no artist or band that has more than three great albums in them. Most have 2 at best.

That's McCartney singing? I thought it was Angela Lansbury.

I still think his career low point was the dreadful "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime".

Wow ! Does he really need money bad enough to ruin his reputation and career at the end? What's next calling himself "The king of all music" , recording with Wings Jr. or maybe re release Band On The Run - The directors Cut

I sort of like it, at least musically. it's big and cheesy and cinematic, which makes sense since it's for a video game. yeah, but the vocals and lyrics are kind of silly. it's still less embarrassing than that new Neil Young song about saving the world. now that's the cheesiest piece of garbage I've ever heard, and not in a fun way

I'm sad to say that I was one of the dozen or so people outside the UK that bought his "Press To Play" album in 1986. This sucked worse than that did.

The only one of these old fucks I still respect is Bowie. He had health issues when he last toured around 2005 or so and decided it was time to hang it up. No big announcement, no farewell tour. He just vanished from the public eye. He released a great album last year and only promoted it was a few videos. His producer has said he'll still release music whenever he feels like it but that's about it.
McCartney, The Who (ANOTHER farewell tour?), The Stones, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, etc. are all musicians I like but they can fuck off with their $300 concert tickets for subpar performances.

The other 2 videos are much more rocking. Who the fuck releases this as his big comeback first single? The man is odd, and still brilliant.

I give Neil Young a pass too because he pretty much just does whatever the fuck he wants. A lot of it sucks now (and did back in the day too. Anyone remember "Trans"?) but he can still come up with some gems.
