Wow. Just got a text alert. What was he into?
not in my death pool :dontcare:
RIP soul bro
He's taking a stroll... at room temperature.
Love, peace and soul
Did like to watch that booty shaking and the white guys with mustaches look stupid
it was funny they played american bandstand back to back with soultrain..quite a contrast back in the day.
My favorite part was the scrambled letter thing.
oh yeah, how dopey was that.
Shit- I love that show.
Especially back in the late 70s-early 80s when they were out of Chicago (?) or Philly (?) and still using civilians in their dance-offs instead of professional dancers.
Some of those chicks were real street girls who didn't shave their pits but were still hot-hot-hot.
Wasn't Don Cornelius close to 80?
Yes! Those 70's era shows were like TV from Mars to a lil Cracka in Texas... And the awesome ads for Afro-Sheen and Sulpher8 and they'd promote concerts like George Clinton and P-Funk and the Brides Of Funkenstein...
The only contact I had with black folk was Soul Train....and I still have a soft spot for black gals with with puffs.
the soultrain line to jungle boogie
