    the national weather service in oxnard has issued a


    * severe thunderstorm warning for...
    northeastern los angeles county in southwest california...


    * until 345 pm pdt


    * at 237 pm pdt...national weather service doppler radar indicated
    a severe thunderstorm capable of producing nickel to quarter size
    hail...and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was
    located 8 miles east of saddleback butte state park...or 10 miles
    northeast of lake los angeles...and moving north-northwest at 10
    mph.


    * the severe thunderstorm will continue to move along the los
    angeles and san bernardino county line.


    precautionary/preparedness actions...


    this is a dangerous storm. if you are in its path...prepare
    immediately for damaging winds...destructive hail...and deadly cloud
    to ground lightning. people outside should move to a shelter...
    preferably inside a strong building but away from windows.""

    central riverside county...


    at 227 pm pdt...national weather service doppler radar continued to
    indicate heavy rain over the eastern portion of the silver fire burn
    area and the eastern portion of san gorgonio pass. radar estimates
    that 0.61 inches of rain has fallen within the past hour over the
    burn area...and heavy rainfall continues. flash flooding is
    likely...and debris flows are possible.


    locations in the warning include but are not limited to cabazon


    precautionary/preparedness actions...


    watersheds burned in 2013 within the silver burn area are
    particularly susceptible to flash floods and debris flows from this
    rainstorm. roads...trails...and campgrounds located along drainages
    within or below the burned basins can be impacted by flash floods and

    The Emergency Alert System just interrupted my tv show again.
    Now it's Flash Flood warnings for San Diego and Riverside.

    Im right between the high school and where the new part of the 210 fwy is. At least they had the decency to put it like 40 feet below ground level through here. Cant hear or see a thing

    I just took a look at the mountains. Holy crap! There are some gigantic White clouds creeping over the tops of them.

    SIZE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS
    LOCATED NEAR SADDLEBACK BUTTE STATE PARK AND MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH.


    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...


    DOPPLER RADAR HAS INDICATED SOME WEAK ROTATION WITHIN THIS STORM.
    WHILE NOT IMMEDIATELY LIKELY...A TORNADO MAY STILL DEVELOP. IF A
    TORNADO IS SPOTTED...ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A
    STURDY STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.


    THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE
    IMMEDIATELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...AND DEADLY CLOUD
