as long as they keep up the "wink-and-a-nod-no-offseason-testing" bullshit, they should all juice.

BALCO founder Victor Conte was on CSNBA after the Melky thing saying that at least 50% of the league is doing synthetic testosterone.. He's been telling MLB for a year that their testing policy has a huge loophole..
A normal persons T/E (testosterone/epitestosterone) ratio is 1:1.. under the current testing policy, MLB doesn't flag a piss test until its 4:1
Players take this synthetic testosterone in the form of a cream, jell or patch after every game or before bed and 6 hours later their T/E ratio is back below 4:1.. The testosterone heals your body overnight, and you feel like it's opening day, every day.. He said you only get caught if you're really fucking stupid
There is another test that they can administer to circumvent that, but it costs $400, same as the HGH test, and they only administer it when someones T/E ratio is over 4:1
the steroid era is alive and well
they may have the money to take on that contract, but they don't have the prospects to give up, and I don't think Boston will just dump the contract like MIA/H Ramirez
