Springsteen played to about 10,000 last night Plus NASCAR RACE COVERAGE There was a free Springsteen concert Sunday in Dallas to go along with the final 4. They talked all week about how they were only going to allow 40,000 in to the park and about how tight security would be to keep others out. They went as far to outline the streets they would close to keep people from trying to get in. Mother nature dumped rain on DFW all day yesterday. The place where Springsteen played was under roof so the show went on but the spectators were out in the rain. To make matters worse, security wouldn't let people in with umbrellas. It looked pitiful on TV and it looked like a lot less than 10,000. More like 5,000. In addition, there was supposed to be a big NASCAR race yesterday. It got rained out too. DFW just has no luck when it comes to putting on big events. Good think Jerry world has a roof for the NCAA championship game tonight.
