State Dept. Audit Faults Hillary Clinton in Emails

Hillary Clinton disregarded various State Department guidelines for avoiding cybersecurity risks, an internal audit found Wednesday, faulting her and past secretaries of state for weak information management.

Despite guidelines to the contrary and never seeking approval, Clinton used mobile devices to conduct official business on her personal email account and private server. She never sought approval from senior information officers, who would have refused the request because of security risks, the audit said.

The State Department inspector general concluded that Hillary Clinton did not comply with the agency’s policies on records, according to a report released to lawmakers on Wednesday that also revealed that Clinton and her top aides chose not to cooperate with the review.

The agency on Wednesday released the long-awaited report to Capitol Hill, copy of which was obtained by POLITICO, providing just the latest turn in the headache-inducing saga that has dogged Clinton's campaign.

“Therefore, Secretary Clinton should have preserved any Federal records she created and received on her personal account by printing and filing those records with the related files in the Office of the Secretary,” the report states. “At a minimum, Secretary Clinton should have surrendered all emails dealing with Department business before leaving government service and, because she did not do so, she did not comply with the Department’s policies that were implemented in accordance with the Federal Records Act."

Clinton also faces an ongoing FBI investigation into the setup of the private server that she used for official State Department business during her four years in the Obama administration, and various Freedom of Information Act lawsuits are working their way through the courts.

Between this and the Va. Governor's campaign donations being linked to the Clinton Bribery Fund, she should not be allowed to run for higher office, at the very least.

    She's fucked

The document also included some details of an exchange between Clinton and Abedin, who both chose not to cooperate with the IG’s investigation.

“In November 2010, Secretary Clinton and her Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations discussed the fact that Secretary Clinton’s emails to Department employees were not being received,” the report said. “The Deputy Chief of Staff emailed the Secretary that “we should talk about putting you on state email or releasing your email address to the department so you are not going to spam.” In response, the Secretary wrote, “Let’s get separate address or device but I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible.”

How many lies does she tell in this tiny clip, directly to our faces?

Or maybe the better question, did she say anything truthful?

But she exposed state secrets to foreign governments.

Then destroyed the evidence. Now that I think about it, she should probably be in jail...

A champion could see that maintaining your own server for government business, despite being briefed beforehand on why it's illegal to do so, then made to sign a document saying you understand that, and destroying thousands of emails selectively when this is investigated, is illegal and per-se evidence of corruption and malfeasance while in office. But I'm sure she's scrupiously honest in every other phase of her activities. So by all means, put her in charge of the justice department, the IRS, and the NSA. She'd never use them to hunt down enemies or anything.

Top secret data "material that would cause exceptionally grave damage to national security if made publicly available" was stored on the server. Cybersecurity experts say that an "amateur" could have breached the server. Romanian hacker Guccifer who just pled guilty to hacking various state officials says he too breached the Clinton server and "it was easy".

based on today's report, Hillary was told to stop using the server for her communications and use official channels instead, but she declined. What was she doing that was worth putting Americans at risk? She had the evidence destroyed.

Yeah the State Department Inspector General saying this means nothing, he pretty much just gets coffee and empties the waste paper baskets.

Its important to note that this report is the State Department meaning her department.

This is NOT the FBI report, which means this is the best possible spin they could put on this report. When the FBI report, I mean if obama allows the FBI report to come out, it will be much much much worse.
