This collection is notable for two reasons:

    (1) The audio clips appear to be from the original source, like they were from Fred's board. Usually when you here a group of audio clips from the Stern Show, a good percentage of them also include some cross-talk such as Howard or Robin talking or laughing at the beginning or end of the audio. Not the case here, makes you wonder how whoever put this together had access to the clips rather than just recording them from the show.

    (2) While overall it's a good collection, for the most part the clips aren't quite as entertaining as the "oldies but goodies", especially from the pre-satellite years. Maybe I'm just nostalgic for the good ol' days but I miss "What are you say-ing" "It's gettin' to be re-goddamn-diculous", "Who dis?", "Vodka, straight up, thank you!", "I need more time to think", "Arrivederci Cocksucker", "HERO of the STUPID!", "It's over, Johnny, It's OVER!!!", "Ya hear me? I hear ya!", "It's not funny, it's not fun…", "I told you not to be stupid, you moron!", "Wake up, white people.", "Lest anyone think" etc...

Remember when they did that contest with Fred and you had to make a song with the drops? Didn't they provide a bunch of the drops to download? I wonder if that can still be found.

...wow imagine how funny the show could be if they took 7 minutes to roll this tape. the shed brings the funny once again.
