There's usually a couple of shed leagues in the bar, Mr Clutch and Sipawitz run them.

One is an auction and the other is a straight up draft. They'll start a thread when it's time to ask for players.

he was taken first overall in my draft. I missed out on him. I did a little reading on how you should pick your teams and they said pick RB/WR in the first few rounds... Calvin Johnson was gone.. AP was gone.. I was stuck with Forte but I also picked up Alfred Morris as my two backs. Wanted Drew Brees for QB but missed on him, too. Was able to get Andrew Luck who puts up a lot of points.

I did do one last year but I was still betting so I didn't put much thought into it. Brees kept me in every game... Doug Martin was balling before he got hurt and Reggie Bush helped a lot.

    Thanks!

I play on a mixed league (men and women) and love it. I am a Vikings fan, so you know... :(

Question... how are you having a draft so early before training camp and the pre-season games start?

    Agree!!!

My husband picked up him up off the waivers middle of last year - he got him some decent points on a couple of games.

I think Patterson will be a great player for them in the coming years - knock on wood.

They are building a new stadium up there... team will be playing home games OUTSIDE at the Gopher's field... Brrr... No thanks.

It was my fault. I really liked NFL.com's fantasy format last year so I wanted to get in an NFL.com league & you can select date/time of your draft. I have been dying for football (even Madden doesn't come out til next month) so I picked a league that was almost full and had a draft soon.. just so I could have something football related to fuck around with. It was kinda dumb to do it so far away from the year when people can get injured or move on the depth chart even.

I want to get in one with people I can talk to though! it was weird not even be able to bullshit with anyone about the matchups last year :(

Every article I read had Coradelle as a major sleeper! I had just missed out on him, so I grabbed Mike Wallace as my W/R (or whatever the position is that can be either wr/rb). I have been reading a ton on the dolphins OTAs and the OC Bill Lazor has been utilizing Wallace all over the field. They say he will be used very much like DeSean Jackson was last year. I will admit I am a homer, so it may come back to bite me in the ass.

I hear ya... I am not into many sports but really love football for some reason. Waiting until August/Sept sucks. :)

We did ours through ESPN FF... the app seemed to work well on my phone - easy to see updates/score changes/player issues, etc.

Must have been one of those salary cap leagues that you mailed in who you wanted. I used to use the Sporting News for fantasy before the internet.

It was such a pain in the ass.

Since football is about much more than statistics, I find it uninteresting to merely memorize who gets better statistics and pick them, hoping they manage to not get injured.

If there is a computer simulation that involves play calling and such, rather than fast-twitch muscle fake shit, I'd love to hear about it.
