Where did the last history of Howard stop? Wasn't it the Private Parts movie era? I'm guessing (1) Howard doesn't want to pay the production costs for the next installment and more importantly (2) he doesn't want to recount [gloss over] his divorce or the sub-par Son of the Beach.

Then next up would be the gross over-hyping of the move to Sirius. Methinks Howard's often used phrase from 2005, "notebook full of ideas" will never be aired in any Howard History.

right as Beth walked into the picture..
the last one had a snippit of her and that was that..

no way howard was going to commit to a real story about Beth or the Artie drug years

That nine-week stretch of three-day work weeks from late September to late November is absolutely brutal. No wonder Howard desperately turns for help from Casey Kasem corpse updates three times a show and three-month-old Wolfie interviews that weren't good enough to air when they were new.

With no prep for any of the shows, that's 72 hours of 'work', not including the commercials and the time that he spends chiming in while Robin does a cold read of news stories provided by her interns.

I hate to defend stern but good for him. It is up to Sirius to evaluate the cost to profit ratio for having him on contract. My only gripe is how he is holier than thou when it comes to work ethic. Do as I say not as I do. He also married a man.

How could the man be proud of this? 4 shows in August? Seriously?

If he's going to be so damn lazy he might as well just have one weekly show. Hell Joel McHale does a tv series and movies but still manages to do The Soup every week. And that show is at least 80% fresh content unlike Howie repeating himself and moldy old Prank Calls.

I did laugh when the caller told him he had 14 months left on his contract and he cracked "What , that's 6 more shows"

I really hate him. I hope he gets stuck enduring Beth's presence for at least 50% of those of those days off.
