MFB asked if there was any advice that Stern didn't listen to from Buchwald. Stern thought for a moment and said, yeah, AGT, Buchwald didn't want him to do it. But Stern wanted to do it because he thought it would be a goof and it would be silly and they all would have a big laugh and have a lot of fun.

Which is EXACTLY how that turned out. Right, Robin??? Am I right?

Then the conversation turned to Simon Cowell so MFB could heap on the guy and they started making fun of him for involving his wife on the show (Simon will seek out his wife's advice during the performances apparently and his child is somehow involved) to which Howard starts to mock that situation.

Of course, Stern never did that with his parents on AGT because he was too busy being silly and making everyone laugh with his "crazy antics".

More revisionist history. Buchwald wasn't turning down the millions in commission he got from NBC. He was the one who came running in live on the air with the champagne to sign Wiggys NBC contract.

It was such a goof that he said how serious he took it all the time on the show.

A lie told often enough becomes the truth.

He is confusing Buchwald with Fred. Fred is the one who told him not to do it. As you said, Buchwald would never turn down a multi-million dollar payday.

You know Buchwald was in there fighting tooth and nail to keep Wiggy on the air even after the Sony leaks. Hes not going to be able to keep up his wine expert persona on the money he makes from Jay Thomas, Tom Cotter and the Black guy in the wheelchair from OZ.

And by the way when you google Don Buchwald Clients the first thing that comes up is the 2013 Dawg Shed thread on the subject.

That "I just wanna judge" schtick was the window dressing for "being serious about it" which was window dressing for "do less work, collect all the money".

I heard that Monday and its total fucking bullshit!!
This is the type of deal both have been dreaming for

Bushwald and Howard benefited handsomely in the AGT deal in those many years. More money, extra exposure to the Stern show in main stream media and having cleaner image, which meant getting more "A List celebrities", more new listeners and new sponsors/advertisers (but not sure if it helped since HTV & crew got canned and lots of other staff and show cuts).

But lets say Bushwald was agiasnt Howard signing to AGT. Then Bushwald has to be the dumbest idiotic mother fucking agent on the planet and should had been fired ages ago.
And if Howard did the show as a goof why in hell did he move production to New York, made so many demands, asked for so much money? And why hasn't he donated all the "Goof" money to his and other charities?

You know why, cause Howard if fcuking lying!!!

and if you believe Bushwald didn't want Howard to sign to AGT and Howard did AGT as a goof (and Beth was a super model) then you sir, are the dumbest mother fucker on the planet.
I'm sorry, but you have to be a complete idiot if you believe this horse shit
