Usually on a Monday mornings HSS they first talk about what they did over the weekend, right? Well on yesterday's show, the first thing Stern starts talking about is his drawing. He's going on and on about his drawing/painting, that kind of BS. I'm thinking why is he droning on about this crap - he's already beaten this to death. Then at 21 mins into the show, he lays this preamble..He's so busy, he doesn't have time for anything like painting/drawing.... And now the bomb: "Like when Joan Rivers died, Melissa GAVE ME the eulogy phone call,..That drove me...you need hours and hours... I don't have time...." And then back to his hobby BS. This whole segment was about Stern laying the ground work about how he's too busy for anything in his life and for the discovery that he didn't write the eulogy. Now, if someone says that other comics wrote the eulogy, Stern has the fall back that he said he was too busy. After that quick one statement (and non sequitur) Stern went back to talking about drawing. Also, by him saying Melissa called him - that confirms that Stern called Buchwald to get Buchwald to strong arm Melissa to get him on the list of speakers. This guy is so underhanded.
