    Cash grab

Legacy has nothing to go with it
I'd like to think I'd have kept a fire but money changes people

Specifically all the ass lathering that accompanies it

I think the bigger mistake was that he is just old, pussywhipped, and remarkably uninterested in his own show.

His mistake was the bait and switch. The HSS was great those first 6 months at Sirius and the other product on his channels showed promise If Howard just kept focused and maintained the quality while husbanding new ideas and current talent he would be in a fine position with his fans and the entertainment world.

"Game of Thrones" and "The Sopranos" were/are behind a paywall where expensive equipment is required. And, you never knew when "The Sopranos" were coming back.

The first 4 years on Sirius was the greatest radio ever.

Then Artie left, Kimmel's pool parties and the celebrity bromances happened and Marci Turk was hired to scuttle the ship because Howard was going to be a big TV star

There was some terrific radio those first 4 years. But you can see the quality slip, the attempt to fulfill the promises sold as "The Revolution" stop being made about a year in when Howard stopped getting his subscriber quota bonuses. Also, about that time, you started to hear the "no money in the budget" bullshit.

My 2015 Chevy truck didn't come equipped with SiriusXM (classified as a work truck, so it wasn't standard), so even if I wanted to put it in my truck, I'd have to go online, or to the truck stop up the highway from here to buy one. Can't get them at Walmart or Best Buy anymore

When Artie really started to get carried away with the H the quality dipped. That was mid-2008 to his demise in December 2009

Even on his podcast now you can tell when he is totally high he can barely talk

But Howard and strung out Artie >>>>>>>> Howard and Kimmoe

The technology, except for certain cases, is going to be bypassed. People want what they want and the delivery mechanism will not be sat. Basically, Howard chose to launch his program on VHS.
